Kiln Dried firewood is professionally dried in the same lumber kilns used in processing lumber for building. The firewood produced is consistent in size, high in quality and low in moisture content (15 to 20%). It is USDA Certified to be free of bugs and larvae. It will produce an optimal BTU rating (heat) that cannot be achieved by poorly seasoned local firewood. Kiln dried firewood is very clean and can be stored inside.
